New Brighton Beach has a wide range of attractions and facilities and is located in the north-east corner of the Wirral peninsula and offers nearly a mile of golden sand to explore!
During the Summer the beach is popular with tourists, with striking views over the Liverpool city skyline! The beach is a great place to watch ships sailing out from the Mersey estuary into the Irish Sea and it's a great spot on a hot Summer's day!
Beyond the marine lake is a 19th century Grade II listed Perch Rock Forct, which was once part of the sea-defences system. Beyond the fort is the stunning Perch Rock lighthouse.
On the beach you'll find Black Pearl, which is a community-build driftwood boat. Pretend to be a pirate whilst you climb aboard!
You can take cnoes out, go snorkelling, jet-ski, kite-surfing and swim in the water, just remember to take care! Bring a picnic with you and get all the family down to the beach for a family day out to remember!
Parking is available at Bay View Drive by the Derby Pool Public House (aprox 200 spaces) or along King's Drive.
