About this activity

If you're a football fanatic then the National Football Museum is the place to go! There is something for everyone to enjoy for all ages and there are four floors to explore in total! You'll find interactive objects, games and displays, trails and more to make your visit one to remember.

The stories and objects located around the museum will help you explore and learn more about the game through the football objects. You'll find the FA Cup silverware, FA's replica of the Jules Rimet and more objects and collections that tell the story of football of the present day.

If you're looking to test your football skills then head to the penalty shootout area. Try and beat the virtual keeper from twelve yards and test your aim from the spot! There are various challenges and games that will help you develop your football skills. You can even test your passing range, learn some new tricks and flicks and work on your goalkeeping reflexes. You can even try your skills at commentating the game as you relive classic goals and follow the autocue!

There's also a Discovery Zone in the play gallery for under 5s where you can enjoy some hands-on and interactive activities. There are famous clips of playrs, interactive displays and more across all of the floor where you'll be able to relive some of the best footballing moments.

Make sure you go on one of the trails too! Pick up a family-friendly trail map from the Welcome Wing and see if you locate the answers and objects in the galleries throughout your visit.

Don't forget to take your picture with the Premier League Trophy too as you'll get to take home your own special memento of your visit!
