Robin Hood's Bay is a picturesque old fishing village on the coast of the North Yorkshire Moors. It's a great place to bring the whole family as you walk the sandy beach, discover rock pools and wind through the twisted streets.
Robin Hood's Bay and the surrounding area is a great place to visit if you love the outdoors, as there's lots to do! Spend hours playing on the beach and wind through the paths, alleyways and more and discover the history of the village.
You'll walk the streets where smugglers would slip through in the 18th century. It's also one of the best spots for fossil hunting too!
The site has a number of historic buildings and landmarks including the 15th century St. Stephens Churc and the Bay Hotel which dates back to the 17th century.
It has a thriving arts and culture scene with galleries, craft shops and music festivals held throughout the year.
There are walkig routes leading along the clifftops and down to the beach and is home to birds, puffins, seals and even dolphins, so see what you can find!
There's also the museum, old coastguard station and plenty of places to eat and shop too on your day out!
