About this activity

Plantasia is a tropical haven and feels like you're in a real rainforest! Explore the animals, plants and if you wanted to make your trip extra special, they have lots of VIP experiences you can get involved in.

There are sround 40 different species of animals at this zoo and around 10% od those have conservation concerns, particularly the Egyptian Tortoise. There are parrots who may even say hellow to you and marmosets who are the only mammal species that give birth to twins! There are the cute but deadly leopard cats and the cheerky meerkats who love to burrow underground.

Watch out for the crocodiles and the python and the creepy crawlies like the scorpion, tarantulas and the giant African land snails! There's a wide range of exotic animals that you learn all about and get to know.

As well as the animals there's so many tropical plants! There's the aloe vera plant, weeping fig, black pepper and so much more! You'll learn about how they play a vital park in the ecosystem.

They have lots of interactive animal handling experiences for the whole family. You'll meet your zookeeper and they'll introduce you to a variety of animals that you can hold and have your photo taken with them! It's a great opportunity to get up close to some of your favourite animals.

There's no time limit here either! So you can go round as much as you want and spend your whole day here!
