About this activity

Llancaiach Fawr Manor stands proudly, as it has done since c1550, overlooking the Glamorgan Uplands. Step into the manor house and bac in time as it is furished as it would have been all those years ago!

The manor is surrounded by a restored period garden which provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the passing of the seasons and a chance to relax! There are costumed servants around the house to really immerse all visitors into past times. Speak to witnesses of the pass,  and watch them perform their duties as they would have done years ago. The day tours last for around 90 minutes.

The manor also holds a number of exhibitions with an interactive touch table for the young visitors to explore the lives of the servants and an opportunity to understand more about the family that lived here. Try and read the 17th century handwriting and more!

The manor hosts a number of events throughout the year like ghost hunts and workshops, so make sure to keep an eye on the website before you visit so you know what's happening!
