About this activity

Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo is SO much more than just an adventure park, and SO much more than a zoo!

How about we start with the zoo!?  The family can visit over 750 animals from all over the world at this iconic zoo.

Kids, have you ever wanted to see lions up close in person, or marvel at the strength of rhinos? Perhaps you've always wanted to see giraffes reach for the leaves, or spend time watching cheeky and playful penguins up close?

At Folly Farm, you can do all of the above! This world-class zoo features over 100 different species that kids can see and learn about, all in the heart of the Pembrokeshire countryside. From Bactrian camels, to bongos (not the musical instrument!), and lemurs, meerkats, tapirs, even the wonderfully named Barbary macaques and squirrel monkeys...it's all at Folly Farm zoo!

Here's a fun fact - the giraffes are the ONLY giraffes in Wales! They're also one of only seven zoos in the UK caring for the critically endangered Eastern black rhino.

Next, visit the Jolly Barn, where you can get up close to furry and feathery farmyard friends including fancy mice, to furry ferrets, shire horses and miniature ponies, to donkeys and goats.  Of course, no farm would be complete without those beautiful lambs, hens and chicks. Kids can also milk lifelike plastic model cows!

Don't miss the 17 funfair rides too in their vintage fairground. A ride wristband is an additional cost, but it's worth the fun!

With 120 acres of fun and wildlife to enjoy, including eight different adventure play experiences, could there be almost TOO much fun to be had at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo!? Only one way to find out!

They have done their very best to make Folly Farm wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly however keep in mind they are a rural attraction spread over 120 acres and you will probably want to cover the whole area to make the most of your visit. To help, they've added plenty of benches around the park for you to take a rest.

They also have accessibly toilets, and a small number of non-motorised wheelchairs available for hire. Carers can visit free!
