Bryngarw Country Park has over 100 acres of meadows, woodlands and gardens to explore! Take a walk through the bluebells, watch out for wildlife and enjoy the adventure playground with the iconic tower slides!
Whatever your ages, there's plenty to enjoy! The park has a huge picnic area, play areas and a cafe if you wanted a bite to eat whilst you visit! The visitors centre has lots of history and heritage to discover through interactive displays, hands on activities and a wellbeing corner too.
Theres walks for all abilities too. There are four areas of the park, woodlands, grasslands, oriental gardens and the wetland too. You just need to decide which one to discover! There's also many nature trails which are waymarked and there's a variety of different habitats to explore.
The red posts are meadows, green are woodlands and blue is the riverside. Remember to download the printable spotter sheets which contain a selection of activities for children to enjoy on their visits.
The play areas are great for building dens but if it a bit wet outside the the visitory centre makes the perfect spot to enjoy, with regular storytelling sessions too. They have outdoor theatre events, ranger-led explorations and at Christmas they have festive treats in store for the family! Just check out the website before you visit so you know what's happening!
