You'll journey through the Brecon Beacons National Park and along the way admire the beautiful scenery of the area. The railway was established over 40 years ago and they have a range of locomotives. You'lltravel through Pontsticill and along the length of the Taf Fechan Reservior before heading high into the Brecon Beacons and the summit of the piriginal line at their main statin in Pant.

There's also lots of special events that are ran by the railway. Including an Easter special whch includes egg hunts, goody bags and some special visit from some characters, Santa Special for a festive treat and much more!

The train stops at Pontsticill on its return journey and you can stop and return at a late time if you want to! There's a cafe with tea coffee and snacks and picnic areas where you can enjoy the views across the water.

You'll also find a children's play area which is very popular and they'll be able to climb, run and jump through the obstacles to burn off some energu.

The station is close to the well know Taff Trail, which is a cycle route and a great point to start a walk to explore te area.  There's also a small steam museum which is housed in the old stone loco where you'll get to learn much more about the history of the area.
