Gnoll Estate Country Park has 230 acres of woodland and open space to explore and in 2010 was voted as the best picnic spot in Wales! Explore the wildlife and get involved with the range of activities for all ages and the whole family.
The park is home to all sorts of wildlife and duck food is available to buy from the visitor centre! There's birds, insects and more that you can try and spot here!
The park tells the story of the Mackworth family through many original features located within th grounds and has four large duck ponds, two 18th century cascades and the Gnoll House ruins. You'll find a grassy terrace that runs from the site of the original old house which is a sunken fence which acts as a boundary to the park and a viewing point too! There's the ice house where ice was once transported, bowling greens and a more formal gardens to explore.
There a children and adventure playground. The children's playground is suitable for people who are disabled and is a safe environment for children of all ages. The adventure playground was recently refurbished and allows you to climb, run and navigate around the obstacles.
Onsite you'll find a nine hole pitch and putt golf course, fishing spots, woodland walks and popular footgolf which provides hours of fun and enjoyment for all ages!
Whether you want to get involved with the popular parkrun, play golf or simply visit for a walk and a chance to feed the ducks, it's a great place to get outside and enjoy nature with the whole family.
Leave the M4 at junction 43 onto the A465. Follow the A465 to Neath/ Castle-Nedd then follow the brown signs.

Gnoll Estate Country Park is accessible to all; the visitor centre and cafe are wheelchair friendly and there are disabled toilet facilities on site.
