About this activity

The Pembrey Country Park is an award-winning park and beach set in 500 acres of Green Flag woodlands, golden sands and countryside! They have everything you need to have a great day out with the family including ski slopes, crazy golf, adventure play and lots of natural trails. 

Hidden in the forest you'll find the adventure playgrounds which are accessible for all. There's a sensory tunnels, slides, climbing frames and swings and a pirate ship too! 

Try Wales longest Toboggan ride too where you'll be taken to the top of the slope and enjoy the views of the park as you travel down through the trees. You'll need to be at least 3 years old and children must ride with an adult. 

They also have an 18 hole crazy golf course a challenging nine hole pitch and putt course that suitable for all ages and abilities. 

At the ski and activity centre there are lots of activities such as skiing, cycling, golfing and more. It's the only remaining dry ski slope in Wales and they welcome all abilities! They also offer lessons too if you want to get some practice in and learn a new skill. 

The park has three trails that have been marked out and you'll learn about the ponds, plants and wildlife along the way. They also have a augmented reality trail too! 

Cefin Sidan beach is the first beach in Wales to achieve the blue flag award and there's eight miles of sandy beach and golden coastline to enjoy! There's disabled access too and during the summer the beach is manned by lifeguards. 

At the North end of the beach you may see the remains of a shipwreck too that protrudes from the sand!

Situated just off the main A484 road between Carmarthen and Llanelli. The M4 junction 49 is just a short hop to the east of Llanelli (approx. 30 minutes away) and the A40 covers the approach west and north of Carmarthen.
