Mr Straw's House is an extraordinary house, which is virtually unchanged since the Straws moved in 1923. You'll see over 30,000 treasured possessions, exactly where the owners left them.
Step back in time to the 1920s, and see how a family living in the market town through their furnishings and household objects. It's virtually unchanged since the Straws moved here, and there's lots of domestic items and displays to explore.
There is also a tended garden which offers a quiet oasis with a greehouse housing a cacti collection. Walk in the footseps of the family and explore the outdoors.
The last Friday of the month, there is a guided walk through Worksop, the town the Straw family called home and you'll discover the places where they worked and wondered. Make sure to book ahead!
If you're into fashion, you can explore a hundred years of fashion, inspired by the Straws. Look at how they dressed furnished their house and how their sense of style impacted the lives that they led.
Follow signs for Bassetlaw Hospital. Blyth Grove is a small private road off the B6045 Blyth Road, just south of Bassetlaw Hospital entrance. Out of courtesy to local residents, please park only in the car park.
