Sundown Adventureland in Nottingham has something for everyone! Captain Sandy’s Play cove is a beach and sandy play area and it’s completely full of places to play! The kids love digging, playing, building castles and forts in the beautiful golden sand. In the middle of it all is Captain Sandy’s house, which doubles up as a climbing area, where the only way out is by a slippery slide! Crash Landings is their biggest indoor play area and is a mega huge, four storey Jungle themed soft play climbing zone! Your kids will love to climb to the very top and then whizz down on one of the three extra-long bumpy slides to race around. It’s great for those rainy or blustery days when you just need a warmup and adults need a bit of a sit-down! And to make your life even easier, it’s also home toa picnic area or one of their brilliant cafe areas with hot food, snacks, and drinks to give you time to chill.
As if this wasn’t cool enough, the Angry Birds Play Area is made up of a mixture of climbing frames, crawl tubes, themed swings and roundabouts all in the bright colours and including the recognisable characters from the World of the Angry Birds. So, you and your kids can play together alongside Red, Leonard and the Pigs and even the original, very angry, Yellow Bird!
Fort Apache is like entering an Old American Wild West Cavalry Post. The centrepiece is a multi-level climbing and sliding structure with forts to play in and defend against all incomers, and great whizzy slide to help you escape. If you’re brave enough there’s a great big curly whirly slide so you get dizzy on the way down.
