Yorkshire Wildlife Park is a dynamic centre for conservation and welfare and has over 400 animals and 70 different species in total! It's a fantastic place to experience a walk through wildlife adventure and most of the animals are endagered or threatened in the wild and you'll learn so much about them too!
The park is home to the only polar bears in England, and there's currently eight of them in total! They're one of the world's leading centre polar bear welfare and conservation and the largest outside of Canada. The 12 acre habitat is divided into two and each features grassy pains, beaches and water pools for them.
There are lions too and you'll enjoy 360 degree views in all directions from the waterfall bridge! Sea lions, tigers, red pandas, giraffes, rhinos, otters, monkeys, zebras and hundreds more! You'll probably find your favourite animal here. Don't forget to check the feeding time schedule as you'll get to hear some amazing facts and watch them have their lunch!
As well as this, you can walk among pre-historic giants and the dinosair park! There are five unique lands of Pangea and is a truely immersive experience, with over 30 life sized moving dinosaurs.
Located throughout the park there are play areas for the kids too, both indoor and outdoors, so it doesn't matter if the weather takes a turn for the worse! There's a jungle lookout, monkey playhouse, big bug play zone and an adventure play complete with a zip line. Your visit won't be complete without having time to play!
If you wanted something extra special then why not check out their animal experiences? From getting up close to polar bears, giraffes, leopards and more, its a great gift for someone who loves animals!
