Derbyshire Pony Trekking cater for the whole family or a small group to enjoy a great day out in the fresh air! Go and trek with ponies out in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside; look out for the Buzzards and Herons flying overhead whilst taking a trail ride around the Nature Reserve or in the woods! If parents just want to walk along whilst the kids ride this is also possible, just bring your wellies or walking boots for the mud!
With more of a personal touch, they trek at the customer's pace, whether it be fast or slow! Thy also offer offer complete off road horse trekking which makes it very safe for beginners and a dream you wouldn't believe for experienced riders!

As well as offering day time treks, they offer sunset treks, pub grub trreks which include a pub lunch, long day rides where you can take a picnic, and day rides including afternoon tea.
They are just 10 minutes from the M1 junction 29 and 29a, just off the A632 near Nether Langwith. Look out for the for the flag pole near the bad bend and the T-junction; the entrance is set back from the road with a wooden gate.

A riding hat is essential; if you don’t have your own you can borrow one from the centre. They advise riders to ensure they wear full length trousers; boots with a low block heel on, suitable clothing depending on weather conditions e.g. warm clothing for winter and waterproofs in case of rain.
