Beacon Park Boats offers the opportunity to explore the canal in the Brecon Beacons on their self-drive electric boats that you can hire for the day. They're easy to drive and make little noise and they're great fun for the whole family! 

There are many different boats to choose from, from eight seater day boats, six seater boats, cycle boats, ex-thames boats, steam boats and canoes too! You can also hire them for the whole day or for a few hours if you prefer and no experience is required as full training will be given! 

You'll wind your way down the canal through the stunning scenery and get up close to wildlife and enjoy the views on Britain's most scenic waterways.

You can listen to the birds and water as the boats are very quiet too! The day trip begins at 10am and you'l be offered life jackets and a safety briefing. The electric boats are easy to drive, with a steering wheel and a throttle. It's great to learn something new! 

The boats are equpped with mooring pins and ropes in case you want to stop and wander around the area and the top speed on the canal is 2.5 miles, so you'll cruise gently.
