Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre has so many exciting animals and birds to see. There are around 40 different species and there's lots to see and learn! The zoo is constantly expanding with new animals, so everytime you visit there's always something new to discover. 

The zoo has different zones filled with animals relating to that region. In the Australia zone you'll find wallabys and emus. The Asia zone is filled with adorable little otters and the Africa zone is home to the cheeky meerkats and lemurs. 

The farmyard is home to the pygmy goats and donkeys and the South America zone is home to the rheas. In the UK section you'll find the Scottish Wild Cats too, so don't forget to find them and say hello to them! 

As well as the animals. there's plenty of other activities to keep you busy on your visit. 

There is a playpark which is catered for kids of all ages and is complete with a sandpit, zip wire, swings, climbing frames and more. There's even a mini golf course available see if you get a perfect hole in one! 

The indoor soft play is just outside the tractor park and is great for the kids to burn off some energy! 

You'll also have the chance to get up close with the animals in the petting zoo. It's great for children who want to learn more about animal care and play with rabbits, tortoises and more. It's located in the Hatchery and is a great experience for all ages.
