Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum

The Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum tells the story of Stirling and it's people through objects and a variety of exhibitions. Whether you live in Stirling or just passing through, it's an opportunity to delve into Stirling's past. 

The Stirling Story is the best way to learn about the area and is the museum's main exhibition. 

You'll follow history through the ages and learn about major events and people who made Stirling an importance place.

You'll visit the bronze-age and see Roman pottery, learn about William Wallace and the Wars of Independence and find the world's oldest football too! They also have costumes to dress up in too. 

The second exhibit showcase somes of the remarkable art collections which has historic and artistic significance. 

You'll see art from the likes of William Gillies, Anne Redpath and much more and you'll follow in Smith's footsteps.
