The Falkirk Wheel is the world's first and only rotating oat life, designed and built to connect the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Union Canal. The structres stands 115ft tall and reights the power of domestic kettles to sail boats.
At the site there's boat trips, children's activity zones, water play, canoeing, woodland walks and so much more! Soar 25 metres in the air on the rotating boat life, and explore the canals on the boat.
Pu your golfing skils to the test in the outdoor mini golf course, or try your hand at stand up paddleboarding practice your balance! Try the ancient medievel sport, archery and try and strike the middle, it's suitable for all ages.
The site also offers waterzorbing, without getting wet and bumper boat battles too. There's paddle boats which are great for the little ones and a splash zone with a huge stone map, opportunities to make a splash. Kids can run wild in the activity zone and burn off some energy as they climb the bidge and slide!
There's lots of activities to get involved with here, or you can simply go for a relaxing walk alongside the canal and see what wildlife there is.
