Bannockburn puts you at the heart of the action as you'l learn all about the Battle of Bannockburn and why it is such a cruicial event in Scottish Historst. Immerse yourself and find out how the warriors of either of the conflict became involved and the role they played. 

Bannockburn is a great day out for the whole family if you want see the site if Robert the Bruce greatest victory.

You'll immerse yourself in the digitally re-created version of the battle. Using state-of-the-art technology, research, and a guide, you'll feel like you are really there! 

You'll be guided through a series of films and exhibits which depict the events before, during and after the battle. 

Witness the sights and sounds of a medieval battle first-hand, including the battle strategies, weapon and armour. You'll also learn about the people who fought too. 

Outside of the centre, the parkland is where you can take in and appreciate the stunning landscape. You'll find commemorative monuments, including the iconic statue of Robert the Bruce which is cast in shimmering bronze!

The visitor centre is where you can find out more about the battle and events leading up to it. As well as enjoy some lunch in a spacious cafe. There's also a shop with lots of merchandise and a variety of toys and books that will engage and inspire the younger visitors.

Take the M80/M9, and exit at junction 9. Follow the A872 towards Stirling. The centre is approximately 2 miles from the motorway, on the west side of the A872.

Cafe available selling lots of hot and cold snacks

Please note that the battle experience is a dark and loud environment. There’s very low lighting throughout and there are often loud, overlapping noises from the various battle scenes (including scenes of a violent nature).

Shop onsite

A flat path leads to the main entrance, which can be accessed through a set of wide automatic doors. The visitor centre is on one level (ground floor), so you won’t encounter any stairs or lifts during your visit.
