Located in Denver, the park is located right on the edge of a very picturesque lake, as well as giving you mountain views - so you have plenty to look at when you are high up on those rides!

There are a whole range of rides great for kids (and adults!) of all ages, so there will always be something for you. For those little ones there are milder rides such as the sweet Merry-Go-Round, as well as the choo choo Train.

For families there are the always popular Bumper Cars and Bumper Boats, and even Go-Karts. Nothing like a bit of friendly competition!

And of course, for those thrill seekers there are those bigger rides, like the Zoom, Chipmunk and Cyclone Coaster. Want some hints about what they are? Well, the involve lots of zooms, lots of turns and twists, and one very big DROP!

There are also a huge selection of those great carnival spinning rides, like the gravity challenged Round Up, and the Hurricane and yep - the Spider is there too!

Whilst the big kids enjoy those rides, the smaller ones can watch from their very own kiddie playground.

So if you are looking for that little bit of laughter, adrenaline and family fun, then head on over to Denver and get started at the Lakeside Amusement Park. These rides won’t ride themselves!

Since I was not able to write reviews when I as a young lad, now is my time to shine and express my true disappointment in Lakeside Amusement park.

I went to Lakeside and found it to be horrible experience. The place is very dirty and there is no maintenence at all. As the day goes on, trash starts to build up and there is no staff to take it out. Food is terrible and the teenagers that work the food have major attitudes as well. They act like they are better than you and you just take what they give you. I remember asking for 2 slices of pizza and only got one. I told the teenage black girl I wanted 2 slices. She told me I only asked for one and will only get one. The fat lazy police officers...Read More

Lakeside has always been a blast, I have been going there since I was little and I enjoy taking my kids to enjoy it. My kids are able to ride most of the big rides and we enjoy the atmosphere. With all that being said I have found one major down fall, I have recently called to get a group rate, I have waited almost 3 days for a call back to I called and was given another time to call so I did just to be told the only person that gives group rates was not available, so I called in the late afternoon just to be told he had left for the day and...Read More

Lakeside Amusement Park is a VERY poorly ran park. They charge you more when you get there than what they tell you when you call for informaion. They also alow kids that are smaller than yours on the rides and then when your child trys to get on they say he they are too small. When you call to find out why they discriminate they get upset and hang up on you when you are just trying to get answers. You ask who to speak with and they do nothing but give you the run around. Since I was not able to write reviews when I as a young lad, now is my time to shine and express my true disappointment in Lakeside Amusement park.
The year was 2008, mid summer; it was the day that my summer camp group was to go to the awesome, old-fashioned amusement park! My excitement was uncontainable the whole car ride to the park; but as I walked underneath the entrance tower of Lakeside with my summer camp, all my excitement vanished at the sight of the musk-looking ticket man that “welcomed” us to the fun park. My excitement had turned to confusion instantaneously. This place didn’t look like fun…it looks like a deathtrap. I thanked my parents subconsciously for making me get my tetanus shot, because I would need it throughout the day.
The first ride that I went on was the train, which may I say was one of the worst experiences at lakeside of them all. As the train went around the polluted lake, I couldn’t help but noticed the off-green color of the water and the endless trash floating along the lakeshore. That’s not the worst part, the driver on the miniscule train didn’t even acknowledge us riders, he just grunted and drove the sad little vehicle. Also as the train screeched along the track, the diesel smoke billowed up into my face and made me cough throughout the whole journey.
Soon after the depressing train ride, and some other awful rides, I soon became hungry, so I decided to use the money that my parents had given me to buy some “food”. I had asked the concession stand worker for a hamburger, he smugly took my $5.00 and came back with a cold patty on a stale bun.
“Here’s your food, kid.” He mumbled as he rolled his eyes. I was severely disappointed in the food and questioned if it was a wise decision to ingest this wrenched meal. I went and sat down at one of the filthy tables next to the concession stand. As I ate I observed my surroundings and couldn’t help but notice two rats scurrying out from underneath the concession stand and what I saw next scared me for the rest of the summer. It appeared as if one rat was groping on top of the other rat (keep in mind that I was only ten years old). I did not know what was happening, I was so scared, I ran straight for one of my camp counselors and asked to go home immediately.
Unfortunately, the counselors would not allow it, so I had to spend the rest of the day riding gum-covered rides and wondering who let this place remain open. Such a Hell should be condemned and demolished. My entire day was ruined thanks to the hell-hole that is Lakeside amusement park, and I indeed cried myself to sleep that night and remember that experience to this day.
So if you consider taking your children to Lakeside, stop. Make the right choice, say no to Lakeside. SAY NO TO EVILLLLLLLLLL.

The fat lazy police officers there are only there to see how they can lock you up and are quick to give you a warning when you have not done anything wrong, but the guy that is acting up they totally ignore.
The rides are worn down and don't feel safe at all. This place needs to be shut down completely, torn down and something else done with it. The lake is dirty and you can see that just by looking at it. The parking lot is a dirt lot and there are no markings of any kind to identify one parking spot to another. I waited for the lights to come on as I heard it really lights up and only a small portion of them actually worked. Elitch Gardens ain't much better. I think the next time I want to go to an amusement/Theme park I will go to six flags instead. What a shame this place is. Don't waste your time going to this rundown GHETTO ASS place.

Communication is horrible and customer service is as horrible.

I will NEVER go back to this park and would recomend everyone else who values your families to NEVER go there if they have not been there and those who have to NEVER go back. They are a bunch of RUDE RACIST individuals.
