It's at this super cool museum that kids can channel their inner Top Gun (ask your parents kids) as they walk alongside majestic former warbirds, a homemade helicopter, and a 3/4 scale X-Wing Starfighter!
Those budding pilots in the family can really have some fun in the Simulator Experiences, where you can actually try your hand in flying up to 14 different aircraft, including doing aerobatics in an Extra 300!
Also at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum you can completely immerse yourselves in aviation history with the permanent exhibitions. You can learn about the Amelia Project, and see uniforms of various pilots over the years.
You really are staring at history when you see Sonic Arrow, that MADE history when it broke the land speed record!
The museum also feature some great events throughout the year, including air shows, as well as hands-on fun for the kids, like a virtual lounge.
