What is there to do?

Fancy spending the day walking alongside majestic former warbirds, or channelling the pilot in your in a flight simulator? Then you just might need to head to Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum!

In fact, the flight simulator is one of the most realistic in the entire state of Colorado, and there are over 50 iconic aircraft that you can come face to face with!

Not only can you see some pretty amazing aircraft at this popular museum, but you can also immerse yourself in aviation history throughout the various permanent exhibitions. 

You can see with your own eyes the Sonic Arrow "Spirit of America", used to break the land speed record. 

Kids can learn about the plight of Amelia Earhart, documenting the path of that fateful journey back in 1937, and you can even see a real piece of propellor from the Wright Brothers famous aircraft!

The museum features an exhibit on the various uniforms of cabin crew and pilots throughout the years, and there is even an exhibit on the aircraft nose art!

It's aviation history coming back to life right in front of your eyes!
