About Storybook Island
Storybook Island is a FREE attraction located in Rapid City, where the characters of your favorite storybooks come to life!
Kids can spend the day with Humpty Dumpty, rub shoulders with Pinnochio, or live out their favorite nursery rhymes in real scenes!
Throughout the park kids can enjoy hands-on play at the character playsets, let their imaginations run wild, and immerse themselves in the magic of the park as they explore every nook and cranny!
Storybook Island offers live entertainment to entertain, and playground equipment for those active kids to climb, jump, crawl and hide until their heart's content!
The park is free, but there are some ticketed attractions which kids will just LOVE! How high do you think you can go on the bounce house, or take a trip on the Storybook Island Train. Don't miss a ride on that classic carousel either, where parents can enjoy the nostalgia, and kids can create brand new memories.
Don't miss some of the fun events they hold across the year, from pirate and princess balls, to Halloween fun and festive celebrations!
