About this activity

The best way to see a city, or to explore your own city from a new light, is to jump on a tour! And what better way to see Denver, and Colorado, in style than with Banjo Billy's Bus Tours!

Banjo Billy's Bus Tours are 90 minutes of unforgettable stories, whilst riding their very unique bus!

They offer history tours in Denver, and Boulder, as well as brewery tours in Denver from their cool old school bus which has been made to look like a traveling hillbilly shack!

During your time with Banjo Billy, you will hear tales of crime, history, and maybe some spooky ghost tales while you are there!

The Denver Tour will let the whole family know the amazing story of Denver moving form a mining town to a metropolis.  You can learn how the corruption in the city led to a war right in front of their city hall! You can find out is the US Mint has ever been robbed, and even find out why you might see people in Victorian clothing wandering through the park!

Did you know that the name Denver came about from the price of a barrel of whiskey?

So many fun facts for you to experience!

Then of course, there are the ghost tours, which can tell you stories of the many "other" residents in the city! From haunted mansions to unexplained sights and sounds....will you be brave! These tours are a great way to lead up to Halloween, with them taking place in October.

A fun and unique way to experience a city. Whether you are visiting or lived there all your life, we bet you will finish the tour with a whole new barrel of information!
