Playing, creating, experimenting and exploring and GREAT way for kids to learn (and parents, we know you like them learning!) Which is why the Children's Museum of Denver should be on your list for your family day out!

The museum is a place where kids and adults alike can come and play, create, discover, explore, and of course - learn (but sometimes they don't realize they are!)

The Children's Museum of Denver has some amazing exhibits, all of which are completely interactive so kids can really get hands-on with them. Are they feeling creative? Then let them get MESSY at the Art Studio! They can be inspired and create all sorts of paintings and art work.

If your kids are more machines and tool lovers, then The Assembly Plant might be their thing. They can engineer buildings, design trucks and even construct helicopters - pretty cool! Or perhaps they just love...well...BUBBLES! The Bubbles exhibits is bubbling up, out and over in a place where kids can create and manipulate these fun, soapy scientific masterpieces of fun!

For those readers in the family they can sit, relax and enjoy The Book Nook, where they can become immersed in wonderful stories of brave heroes traveling through exotic and exciting lands. 

From a shopping market, a vet surgery, to and outdoor play adventure, you certainly will be wondering where all the time went, still not having seen everything! 

So grab the family and get ready for an exciting day of discovery, play, and revelations - it really is for the whole family!

The Children's Museum instills a love and awareness of our planet through many avenues, which is great for kids to learn! Through environmentally-based exhibits, and daily activities and monthly themes that focus on making our Earth a better place and what even the little ones can do to help!

Do they have baby facilities?

The Children's Museum of Denver serves newborns and their caregivers so we are as kid-friendly as it gets! Their Center for the Young Child is an exhibit designed for newborn through age 4. They also have private areas for feeding and quiet time.

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Childrens Museum of Denver?

The Eat Street Cafe has plenty of yummy snacks for everyone! From mac and cheese, wraps, hot chocolates and juices, you will be in the right place to fill up those empty tummies!

Any top tips when visiting?

Why not have your birthday party at the museum! Make sure you reserve in advance because the party room fills up quickly, but it certainly will be a day filled with playful fun!

Does Childrens Museum of Denver have a gift shop?

The Shop, Skip and a Jump gift shop offers an excellent selection of colorful, educational and fun toys, games and books for newborns to eight-year olds. World music, train sets, puppets, puzzles. . . there are so many unique tools to play and learn at home!

Teachers corner

There are great educational programs that support the Colorado curriculum, which are designed to expand the students knowledge, and give them a great time! A great place to visit with the school.
