About Elitch Gardens
Two parks in one with Elitch Gardens, with a theme park AND a water park. You can't ask for more family fun than that!
This Denver based theme/water park was one of the most popular destinations for family's in Colorado for more than a century! That's a lot of family fun! Back then, it was filled with lush gardens, a Ballroom, a theater, and that good old fashioned roller coaster, The Mister Twister.
Then in 1994, the park moved to Denver, and now it's giving family's even bigger family fun!
Did you know that there are actually 53 rides and attractions at Elitch Gardens? You will have your work cut out for you to try and enjoy them all! This includes something for all ages, naturally! Those little ones have 14 pint sized adventures, and there are thrilling coasters, and for good measure - and entire water park!
When Elitch Gardens designed the thrill rides, they weren't kidding! You can take a trip "Down Under" on the Boomerang, or you can lose your mind on a 7 story steeling looping adventure!
You can spin around a half pip, or have your legs and feet dangling as you are blasted through rollovers, dives and double corkscrews.
We won't even begin to tell you about the Sling Shot!
Those little thrillers of the family will have their own kiddie fun with the kids rides, including balloons, train rides, bus rides and even flight school!
We haven't even started on the water park! This is FREE with admission to the theme park, and with water play and thrilling slides, it's a great way to cool off from all the adrenaline of the theme park!

From sports bar food, corn dogs, ice cream, fries, burgers, and kiddie land food, there is something to fill all tummies!

If you want to avoid the lines, grab some food outside the traditional lunch and dinner hours!
Does Elitch Gardens have a gift shop?
Old time photos, surf shops, face painting, merchandise, souvenirs, gifts...you certainly won't want to forget that pocket money!

Why not bring the students along for a celebration (or even science class!) They offer group rates, so give them a call to discuss!

Outside food isn't allowed, but you can bring in your own sealed water bottle. If you have special dietary needs you can bring in your own food. There are also healthy options in some of the food outlets
