Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens has a large range of rare animals to explore, with unique views from their wooden walkways! A trip to the zoo is always popular for the whole family and Thrigby Hall Wildlife Garden offers fun for all ages.
At the zoo you'll find a pair of critically endagered Sumatran Tigers, and there's less that 400 in exisitence today! Look up into the trees and you might just spot their Red Panda sleeping! They also have a pair of snow leopards called Nima and Mohan with striking white fur.
As well as big cats, there's also meerkats! They're very sociable and you might just spot them foraging for food and grooming themselves. As well as this, visit the swamp house to see alligators and crocodiles and there's a wobbly bridges that crosses over the enclosure, are you brave enough?!
They also have a large play area which has a 3D adventure maze, climbing frames and slides! You'll also find a separate tree ropes area and slide that is suitable for the little ones. The front lawn of the hall has lots of space for children to run around in and it's also a great spot for a picnic if the weather is nice!
Follow the bridges across the lake, climb the tree walks and you'll get magnificent views of the whole of the park. You walk through the trees with the Gibbons too and explore the pool garden! Make sure you check out the animal talks and feeds and listen to their talks as you'll get to ask the staff your questions and learn all about the animals.
