Watatunga Safari Park Norfolk is set in 170 acres of woodland, grassland and lakes and is dedicated to the conservation of endangered deer, antelopes and birds that are free to roam.
A visit here is a one of a kind opportunity as you'll get to head out on an expert-led safari tour and a chance to get up close to the animals in their natural environment. They welcome guests from April to October and you can also stay here too for an unusual getaway!
Each tour lasts for around 90 minutes and you'll be taken out on a four seater electric golf buggy. The tour is led by an expert guides who will drive in a different veichles, and you'll get to observe the animals behaviours throughout the seasons and learn lots of information about the species too.
It's a unique way of exploring the reserve and gives you a glimpse into the lives of the animals as they roam around the grasslands, lakes and forests, perfect for all ages too!
The centre strive to keep the animals from extinction and it's a great thing to do if you're an animal lover!
It is possible to reach Watatunga by car, bicycle or on foot. The reserve is situated the outskirts of the village of Watlington near King’s Lynn in Norfolk, U.K. The entrance to Watatunga Wildlife Reserve is situated just off the A10/A134 Watlington Rd roundabout heading towards Watlington and is shared with the Mick George (previously Frimstone) quarry.
