About this activity
Railworld is a much loved visitor attraction in Peterborough and focuses on entertaining and educating visitors about our amazing world! It's ran by volunteers and is right next to the nen valley railways.
The centre has over 2,000 square feet of intriguing and exciting model railways. The garden railway has a track guage of 45mm and was created in 2012 and it has been extended and modified every since with new features!
The Globe Hall World is at the centre and was created from a redundant barrier gate drive. The volunteers also restore so much more throughout the year have lots of ongoing projects, so make sure to check out the website to see what they're doing!
They welcome schools and other visits to help out on projects and get stuck in too, or if you just simply want to learn about nature ans find out how we can enhance the world we live in, there's lots of opportunities!

From City Centre, make your way towards ASDA, then behind over the footbridge, over the River Nene, follow footpath under Railway Bridges to Railworld.
