About this activity

Pembroke Castle is set on the banks of the river estuary, this mighty fortress is largely intact, and its endless passages, tunnels and stairways are great fun to explore.

Included in the admission price s a free guided tour which run dailys. It's a great way to find out about the histories and stories of the castle, and the guides bring the castle to life! The tours start at the hour and take place in an outdoor setting.

There are many exhibits at the castle which portray what life was like during the castle's history. You'll start with an introduction video and enter into the main room.

The main exhibition rooms have paintings, graphic panels, sculpted gifures and more that recreate the most important scenes. You'll see replica models and learn the story of the many Earls of Pembroke.

Transport yourself back to the medieval benquet held at the castle and see the magnificent work of William Marshal.

In the Dungeon Tower you'll see one of the few remaining medieval gaols, so don't forget to take a look! They have lots of events on year round, so make sure to check the website before you pay the castl a visit.
