About this activity

Jordans Mill is a food heritage attractions situated on the banks of the river Ivel in Biggleswade. Take a guided tour of the historic Victorian Mill and admire the milling machinery whilst you'll journey through time!

As well as exploring the mill, there's lots of family fun to be had! The Let’s Go Wild Activity Passport helps little ones go on the hunt for wildlife in the Mill Meadow and Woodland and learn more about where their food comes from in the Mill Gardens. Try and spot the shy kingfisher and complete the pages of the passport to earn a badge!

The Mill Meadow and Woodland areas are fantastic for younger visitors to let off steam. They can spot bees in the summer in the beehives and meet the resident sheep in the winter, with lambs often about in the springtime.

The woodland has a host of games and wildlife attractions to discover including a balancing beam, log path, teepee, throw a cone game and an insect hotel and lots more for a fun time in nature!

Children's Activity Trails are located in the Mill Gardens, Meadow and Woodland and trail sheets can be purchased from the Mill Shop.
