Embankment Gardens and Russell Park is a great place for a family day out! There are several riverside walks that offer stunning views, and enjoy spotting which wildlife you can spot.

As well as this, they have an excellent outdoor play area. This includes fun slides and swings. Kids can burn off energy here and in their other great facilities, such as tennis, football, rugby, putting, the bowling green, the table Tennis and the basketball facilities. With all this amazing choice, there really is something for everyone! And you can make a full day of it.
As if this wasn't tempting enough, in the summer, enjoy towing and boat hire, plus angling (including disabled platforms).
The Kiosk is a hub of community activity, providing coffees, hot chocolates, frappuccinos, and herbal teas. Paninis and sandwiches are made fresh as well as hearty soups in the winter.
