Addison Howard Park is the main park in Kempston, and forms the grounds for the Grange Estate, a large residential house within the park. It's one of five Bedford Borough Council managed parks which has been awarded a Green Flag. The Green Flag Award scheme recognises quality parks and open spaces in the UK and around the world, so there's plenty to see and stunning views to take in!
The space hosts a number of sports and community facilities including a community garden looked after by Green Man Community Garden volunteers. You can picnic, play family games, enjoy the views, and why not enjoy the adventure play area and climbing frame suited for under 8s! This is the perfect way ofr kids to burn off extra energy and have fun wit family and friends.
As if all this wasn't tempting enough, thet have sand play, sit on toys, and wonderful wildlife; it's very popular with squirrels!
The Addison Centre on it's periphery caters for children's party functions, so if you're looking to make someone's special day extra memorable, this is the place! It also has football pitches, cricket grounds, and tennis courts.
