Bedford Park is so much more than just your average park! Are you excited to hear why?
Well, Bedford Park is a Grade Two listed English Heritage Victorian park, that was created all the way back in 1888. It also happens to be the largest urban park in Bedford! Here you'll find your great park fun, but also multiple play areas and sports facilities as well as a lake!
What's also amazing to know is that Bedford Park is one of five Bedford Borough Council managed parks that has been awarded a Green Flag. What's a Green Flag you ask?
The Green Flag Award scheme recognises quality parks and open spaces in the UK and around the world! Amazing!
Some of the facilities you can enjoy at Bedford Park include a basketball court, as well as a bowls green, and even cricket pitches! There are football pitches, plenty of play areas for those active kids, and even an outdoor gym.
With a rounders pitch and tennis courts to top off the family fun, it's no wonder Bedford Park is not only one of the most popular parks for families, it's award winning!
