Canterbury Roman Museum gives a fascinating look into life in Roman Britain and is the UK's only remaining in situ Roman pavement mosaics and a schedule ancient monument. Learn about what life was like and immerse yourself in over 2,000 years of history.
Discover the jewellery, silverware, mosaics, glassware, pottery and much more and learn all about the items on display! You can also get a unique insight into the collections with the audio guided tour as well which is included in your entry fee.
Take part in themed trails and hand-on-fun with plenty of activities to try daily. Dress up as a Roman soldier, try on a toga for a photo and pretend to be a Roman! Create your own mosaic designs and have fun identifying real artefacts in the hands on area. The staff are available to help if you need it!
Play some roman board games too in the dining room and have some family fun!
They also offer guided tours for groups too which includes an investigation sessions and lots of behind the scenes facts.
