Howletts Wild Animal Park is one of Kent's original wildlife park with plenty of animals to see. They're commited to conservation and educate all visitors on some of the world's most fragile environments and the endangered animals that live there.
The park is home to over 390 animals and they even have Kent's only giant anteaters, largest herd of African elepahnts and lots of gorillas, leopards and monkeys than any zoo in the country! They're all ready to meet you! They also have new baby animals arriving throughout the year, so make sure to check out the website to get the latest updates.
The park itself is over 90 acres in total and is a great day out. You can join one of the many free animals talks where you can watch the animals being fed and visit their education centre which is all included in your ticket.
Get up close to the gorillas, rhinos and more and pop by the boards located outside the gatehouse so you know what's happening.
Over at the woodland walk you can explore animals of the ice-age in the outdoor exhibition and marvel at the life size prehistoric creatures, walk with lemurs, and make your visit extra special by booking an activity or experience day!
Howletts wild animal park is in the South East corner of Kent and lies just off the A2 past Canterbury. It is also a short distance from Folkestone and the southern coast of England.
