Elham Valley Railway Museum
About Elham Valley Railway Museum
Elham Valley Railway Museum allows you to be transported back to a 1930s railway station as it would have been on the Elham Valley Line. You can wander round the station buildings, and admire the memorabilia or watch the model trail too, it's a great place to visit for the whole family!
At the signal box, you'll be able to pull the levers to operate the signals and stand on the footplate of their own loco.
For a small fee, children can ride on the miniature railway too! There's also a scale model of the Eurotunnel terminal at Cheriton. This is the last part of the model which was on display at the Channe Tunnel museum.
There's also a model shop housed in their shed too which was once on the railway line. If that's not all, you can stroll around the gardens and sit by the pond to see the ducklings!
The museum holds lots of special events all year round too. Including steam weekends and special festive events, so make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what's happening!
