    Beware! Don’t waste your time here. Drive around the bend to Hubers orchard and winery and actually have fun. We went on a Thursday evening after checking to be sure everything was going to be open. Over an hour drive there and the place had plenty of visitors, but employees were VERY hard to find. Signs for pick your own apples were wrong and you could not pick them (waited 10 minutes to find someone to tell me) and prices and offerings on menus were also wrong (no hot cider at the hot cider sign and no longer carries the first 2 choices we made for ice cream). It was as if we inconvenienced them by trying to do or buy what was on the sign! Some of the signs were chalk boards. Someone introduce this place to an eraser and a sharpy. Waited more than 15 minutes at the restaurant to-go window for 2 cups of warm cider. We had already been sent from place to place being told where to get the cider and it was rediculous. Kids were bummed because most of the entertainment was not open even though staff and Web say it is. Ice cream employee doesn’t change gloves. Handles money and garbage and completes multiple transactions with just 1 pair of nasty gloves, then leaves them on to dip you ice cream. Line to pay for pumpkins or anything at all is long but only because no employees can be found and everyone stares at the empty counter until they unapologetically show up.Only 1 star part of the day was the cheery tractor driver that took us to the pumpkin patch. Give that guy a raise! Only person here that seems aware that he should smile and say hi or be courteous at all.

    Nine of us went to the Huber’s Family on 9-26-2014. After looking at the menu and discussing it with the waiter ,three couples decided to order the $18.00 chicken meal and split it with our partner, the threesome also ordered two $18.00 meals to split among the three. We were told there would be enough food for two people etc. When the food arrived, instead of each twosome and 1 threesome getting individual meals the food was in separate bowls to be passed around. When the bowls were [passed around and the people each took a moderate amount of food there was none or very little food for the last two people, and when the other sides were passed the other way the last two people on that side got very little food…when the check arrived the charge was $18.00 plus $3.00 extra plate charges plus included tip…total $30.30 for each couple and $55.00 for the threesome. The food was good but the system used was not explained and we did not get a fair portion of food . I have been going to Hube’rs each year but will probably not eat there again. It was very disappointing to all of us

    AMAZING. My husband and I stayed at a local inn and were referred to Joe Huber’s. We weren’t expecting the best food of our lives. We were just talking about making a special trip from Michigan for the food. 🙂

    Food was wonderful! Our group of over 70 on an 8th grade class trip experienced a broken down bus which put us behind schedule. The wait for the new bus made us arrive an hour after our reservation time and they were very accommodating and so polite, and one guy handled it all by himself and did a great job.

    I just was so excited to enjoy my dinner at your establishment when I was met with a waiter that was not prepared to be on the floor yet (NO greet, NO real service at all to speak of) My steak was cooked well when I ordered medium rare. When I received my new steak it was still mooing but just boxed it up to re cook at home. Manager was not very understanding of the issue other than saying the waiter was new and was not ready to be on the floor yet in this busy time of the year. My meal was still full price when I waited nearly 40 mins for my food to be cooked correctly. THEN My card was ran for the wrong amount and overcharged. I then received notice that I was not able to get a voided copy of the check because they could not void it but they would simply just let it sit till it would fall off so it was going to hold the money on my account for a undermanned amount of time. The service was well under par with what I would think a well respected family restaurant would provide.
