My three year old knows all the toddler hot spots and this one happens to be her favorite. She has been probably four times and every time has been great. The exhibits are engaging and fun. It's clean and spacious. We save the water play for last and bring a change of clothes. The Cosi dining room is great also and accomodates to peanut allergies; which is a big plus for us.

It does get crowded and then we have that awkward parenting moment when you border on push your way in to get your turn or wait politely until that rude kid lets you in. Definitely...Read More

A great children's museum and a fantastic alternative to the Navy Pier museum. We recently went with my family and my brother's family with kids ranging from 2 to 7. All had a great time, as did we the parents running after them. There are both indoor and outdoor activities that the kids can enjoy. They particularly seemed to stay longer at the music and water areas (not unusual, I guess.) We'll be taking the kids back.

I took my little sisters here a while ago and they loved it. The exhibits are hands on, kid friendly and lots of fun! They loved the little Dominicks store and the medical clinic (they had a chance to care for babies). I recommend this place for small children. They will have a great time. They also have lockers (I think the lockers were $0.25) and a cafe.

My family and some of our friends went to this museum over the holiday weekend. While there were many things to do, it didn't seem to teach the kids much. The water area was fantastic and it all was very entertaining but not very educational. It was just marginally educational, which would have been fine had the prices not been so outrageous. For me, my husband, and a child UNDER 2, it was 29 dollars. We also didn't eat there because of the high prices. The employees were not very helpful or overly friendly, most of them just floated around....Read More

Overpriced And over crowded. I paid $50 for me and my kids to get in and we didn't even get to do half of the things because so many people were there. There were literally lines just to go into an area to play. Poorly organized and just chaos. I've been to children's museum all over the country and this was by far the worst. Not a lot of quality art or science. It's basically an overcrowded play area and not much of an educational experience.
