What is there to do?

By turns scenic and wild Kennekuk County Park comprises tall grass prairie areas, oak and hickory forests, lakes, 3 nature preserves and the 170 acre Lake Mingo.

The visitor center offers a 1000 gallon aquarium, natural history museum and American Indian display.

There are also several nature trails, a herb garden and 4 open shelters dotted about the park.
