About this activity

Titanic Belfast is an amazing experience for a number of reasons. Not only does the museum and exhibits allow families to experience and learn all about the true legend of the RMS Titanic, but you're also in the city where it all began!

If that wasn't impressive enough, Titanic Belfast is located beside the Titanic Slipways, the Harland & Wolff Drawing Offices and the Hamilton Graving Dock which is the very place where Titanic herself was designed, built and launched!

Titanic Belfast today tells the story of the "unsinkable ship" from her conception, her construction as well as launch, and of course the famous story of her maiden voyage. Kids can also learn about the ships subsequent place in history.

The self-guided tour at Titanic Belfast extends across nine interactive galleries where kids can discover the sights, sounds, smells and stories of the iconic ship, as well as hear the stories of the people and city that made her.

On the Discovery Tour you can hear why and how Titanic was built, and also really what happened in her final hours.

Kids can discover fact and fable as they walk in the footsteps of designers and shipbuilders who brought that huge dream to life.

If you know a lot about the history of the RMS Titanic already, you still might uncover new and exciting facts on The Discovery Tour!

The Titanic Experience is a self-guided tour, and an average visit lasts 1½ - 2½ hours. Don't forget your admission also includes a visit to the SS Nomadic, so allow another 30 to 60 minutes for that experience too.

All aboard! Titanic Belfast is about to set sail!
