Belfast Activity Centre is a leading, independent charity in Northern Ireland with lots of high quality outdoor adventures and learning opportunities to inspired, challenges and innovate young children!
There are lots of different activities for children, no matter what they're hobbies are. They have an artificial cave which is the largest in Ireland and has three caverns, two rivers, waterfall and lots of twisting passageways. It's a fun activity to keep everone captivated and great fun!
If you wanted something to do on water they have canoeing and kayaking too. You can select from a range of different watercrafts and go paddling down the River Lagan.
There's also climbing activities where you'll scale the routes on their 10 metre wooden tower of if you're feeling brave then try the vertical challenge. You'll learn to conquer your fears and develop skills and learn how to move skilfully.
They have plenty of team games too including how to overcome ostacles, problem solve and work together as a team!
Want to learn more about the wildnerness? They also run bushcraft activities where you'll learn how to survive outdoors. From building shelter, starting a campfire and even cooking meals outdoors, you'll be taught survival skills that will carry you through the rest of your life.
From Belfast: Head from the city centre down the Malone Road. At the House of Sport roundabout, take the 1st exit. Take the first entrance to the right which will be signposted "Malone House". Follow the Belfast Activity Centre arrows around the front of Malone House
