Botanic Gardens and Palm House in Ulster is the perfect family day out! Enjoy taking in the stunning views. There is an extensive rose garden and long herbaceous borders and the tree enthusiast can seek out the rare oaks planted in the 1880s, including the hornbeam-leafed oak. Situated near Queens University Belfast, the Botanic Gardens is an important part of Belfast’s Victorian heritage and a popular meeting place for residents, students and tourists! So why not visit, enjoy the stunning views, and learn something about the history of the place?
Walking routes will take you around the gardens so you can discover the alpine garden, giant bird feeders, a rockery, the rose garden, shrub borders, specimen trees and sculptures. As if this wasn't tempting enough, there's also a children's playground, with cool slides and fun features.

Buildings include the Palm House and the Tropical Ravine where tropical plants and seasonal displays can be found!
