The Spa Valley Railway is a great value family-orientated day out with lots of fun events all year round! You can travel on the mainline to Eridge where you'll travel through the wonderful countryside of High Weald, with plenty of attractions along the way!
Eridge is the country junction station and there are some woodland walks towards Harrison's Rock, Forge Farm and Groombridge. There's also cafes here too if you wanted a bite to eat!
Groombridge station is newly constructred and is now used as a ticket office, it's also known as one of the sunniest spots on the railway and a crossing point for trains. Enjoy a snack and a drink here too!
High Rocks stations is perhaps the most picturesque of the stations and was built from scratch! It's an ideal spot to watch the trains go by and enjoy the landscaped gardens too. You'll then head to Tunbridge Wells West and the town is full of elegance too with lots to do!
They also have lots of seasonal and themed events too! Including a visit from Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol and even Santa!

The Spa Valley Railway is directly accessible from the main A26 at either Eridge (TN39LE) or Tunbridge Wells (TN25QY, or follow the brown tourist signs). Mainline Uckfield line trains from London Bridge and East Croydon call at Eridge.

The Spa Valley Railway offers a number of refreshment options to passengers. These include the refreshment kiosk at Groombridge and the Parcels Van at Eridge, and of course our award winning Bar Car 'Kate', which they endeavour to run on green timetable trains, plus during many special events.
A wide range of Thomas the Tank Engine books and toys, affordable gifts, railway-related books, DVDs, mugs, etc, plus a selection of model railway items.
The Spa Valley Railway is pleased to offer all passengers a range of facilities to enable them to enjoy their day out with us. Most areas can be accessed from the level or by wheelchair-friendly ramps.
