About this activity

Sheffield Park and Garden is set on acres of landscaped gardens and laked and is surrounded by historic parklands and woodlands in East Sussex.

There's lots of things to discover with the family here too, especially if you want to enjoy the great outdoors! Run around in the parkland, build some dens and play hide and seek! Or discover the walk wood and go for a gentle stroll as you explore the historic woodland area and spot the wildlife that live here. The walk wood is open Spring - November.

There is a natural woodland play area for outdoor play, including den building, tree climbing, balance beams and a see-saw too! There's more than 300 acres of countryside to explore too, with iconic bridges, lakes and so much more.

There's plenty of spaces to enjoy a picnic, but there is a cafe too which offers hot and cold snacks and drinks. If you're looking for a special gift, head to the visitor reception which is filled with local produce and gifts.

They have lots of events all year round, particularly in the school holidays. So make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what's happening!
