About this activity
BHS approved Wellgrove Farm Stables offer a variety of horse riding lessons and classes for all ages and abilities. If you've ever wanted to learn to ride a horse, the qualified staff will teach you!
The centre specialises in dressage training and also offers novice jumping lessons. They have a long history of teaching children to ride and the lessons are taken on their horses or horses training with them. They supply all the safety equipment you need too!
The centre also has their popular pony days for young riders during the holidays! The day involves a structured lesson of 30 minutes in a small group, a 30 minute hack and structured learning around the stable yard like looking after the pony. It's a great way to get the children to learn about animal care.
If you're a little bit more experienced, they offer hacking around the village too. Riding some of the bridlepaths or jaunt in the small woodland, there's lots of opportunities to boost your skills so you can become a confident rider.
