The British Wildlife Centre is a peaceful, relaxing place to see and learn about Britain's wonderful native wildlife and there are over forty species in total to see as well!
Make the most of your visit and head to one of their half-hourly keeper talks which gives you the opportunity to learn about the animals and see them up close too. Talks include red squirrels, foxes, otters, hedgehogs and many more, just check the schedule before you arrive!
The animals are never forced out on display and they live naturally as possible which is why no touching or feeding is permitted. Observe the animals playing, relaxing or eating in a natural environment.
You can stay the whole day and they recommend at least three hours to get the most from your visit. The visit centre has a coffee shop and gift shop that you can take something home to remember your visit by.
All of the enclosures are outdoors, although there are undercover areas such as the barn and nocturnal house, and the animals will be out whatever the weather!
There's lots of picnic areas too and a play area with a large sandpit.
