Standen House and Garden

Standen House and Garden is an arts and crafts family home, set in a beautiful hillside garden in West Sussex. There are ample footpaths, play areas and gardens that the whole family will enjoy. 

There are plenty of family-friendly things to do at Standen. Hunt out the family of felted mice inside the house, where each room features a hidden mouse! There's also an adventure corner where little ones can make connections with the local landscape, and explore using natural play. Clamber over the climbing frame, explore the willow maze and take a ride on the swings and burn off some energy! 

There's lots of walks too. Wander through Rockinghill Wood or stroll along Hollybush Wood to see what wildlife you can spot. The visitor centre has lots of walking routes and maps for you as well. 

The little room above the conservatory has toys, games and activities for the little ones too! It's great for building their confidence and getting them to explore through play.
