The guildhall was also once home of one of the oldest public libraries, as well as becoming the town hall and even a police station at one point!
Today, Leicester Guildhall is a fascinating insight into history, and the home to the Medieval Leicester galleries. The whole family can walk the streets of medieval Leicester and uncover a world both similiar and very different to our own!
To help mark the re-interment of King Richard III, the new Medieval Galleries were opened, so don't miss out exploring those.
