You can start your visit at the visitor centre and the staff will assist you with everything you need. You'll find a shop and a cafe here too if you need a bite to eat.
The grounds are also great wander round on a summers day. They have lots of events on year round, so make sure to check the website before you visit so you know what's happening!
To get to Nottingham Castle - from Junction 25 of the M1, follow signs from the A52 into Nottingham City Centre, then follow the brown tourist signs.
Castle is 5-10 minute walk from Midland Railway Station, Broadmarsh Bus Station and Old Market Square, and a10-15 minute walk from Victoria Bus Station.
