The Fleet Air Arm Museum has four exhibition halls, over ninety aircrafts and more two million records to explore. It's the largest naval aviation museum in Europe and there's lots to learn and discover around every corner.
You'll see the Falklands war through the eyes of a Royal Navy Petty Officer who served during the war and provides a first-hand records of the conflict. You'll see original photographs and much more.
The airfield viewing area is home to more than 100 aircrafts and 4,300 personnel and it's Europe's busiest military air station. The museum looks out onto the airbase so you can see how an active airbase operations. You may even be lucky enough to see a naval aircraft!
Experience the Fleet Air Arm on the state of the art Aircraft Carrier Experience and be stransforted onto the flight deck. Discover the evolution of Aircraft Carriers and witness the dangers of taking and landing on a moving runway.
You'll also learn about the stories behind the pioneering women and get the pulsating experience of what it would be like to be rescued by air aircraft too!
You can also step on board Concorde too which is iconic! Learn about the story and how it was tested and developed and discover how it reached incredible speeds!

The National Museum of the Royal Navy is delighted to offer a brand-new schools programme of interactive learning opportunities and resources to enthuse and inspire learners of all ages and abilities.
Approximately 95% of the Museum is fully accessible by those in wheelchairs and the Museum has a number of wheelchairs freely available for visitors to use.
